We are Dijana & Tom, the real-life couple behind the cameras at DT studio. We pride ourselves on capturing the most intimate and happiest moments and provide the best wedding photography and cinematic wedding videography experience for all our clients. Being Croatia wedding photographer, we travel all over the world to capture and save every special moment and emotions of our clients, but if you ask us what is our favorite wedding location the answer is the magical island of Vis.
Vis is one of the most mysterious Croatian islands, located far from the mainland. At the very beginning of the story, Vis served as an ancient Yugoslav military base and it was closed for forign visitors from the 1950s until 1989. This fact prevented its progress and development, as tourists decided to go elsewhere. Nowadays, Vis has become a synonym for nature, adventure and gourmet delights, nominated as one of Top European Wedding Destination among other wonderful locations for a wedding in Croatia. Many tourists decide to visit Vis in search of the sun and the Mediterranean spirit, so we had the opportunity to witness many beautiful international weddings on the island of Vis and here you can see a short wedding photo gallery from Vis weddings.
Fortress Fort George is one of the most famous venues on the island of Vis. This Fortress was built in 1813 by the British Royal Navy and today is considered one of the most romantic outdoor wedding venue in Croatia. Once you see the sunset in Fort George you will want to return to the same place over and over again. Sometimes that desire can turn into something much bigger – to bring your loved ones together and make your dream wedding at Fort George. Along with this location we would also list two other Vis wedding venues – Lola Konoba & Bar restaurant and Frutarija bistro in Vis, which we will talk about later. Fort George, Vis wedding films – cinematic wedding videographer
Rachel&Danny
The wedding was pretty classic, simply decorated with green and white florals. Danny always had special affection and preference for Croatia, which was essential when they decided to get married there. Rachel was so impressed with Croatia that she immediately accepted this idea. However, the only problem was which Croatian wedding destination to choose. They wanted to combine a lot of things in just one wedding: American wedding tradition (big bridal party), pompous walking down the aisle, a crazy party (before the party they gave one of the most emotional speeches ever).
Beth & Linford
Many years before their wedding, Beth & Linford went on a trip to Croatia and they visited the island of Vis. Then Linford asked Beth to be his girlfriend, and their romantic relationship began. After six years, they returned to Vis with their friends and relatives to coronate their relationship with marriage. It was a wedding to remember, full of joy and laughter while enjoying the beauty of Vis. Beth & Linford, thank you for choosing us to be your Vis wedding videographer.
